NIGEL MILAN - Chair
Nigel Milan had a distinguished career in broadcasting - public and private on both sides of the Tasman. Nigel was Managing Director of the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) from 1998 to 2005 and under his tenure SBS television and radio audiences grew significantly. Nigel was CEO of Radio New Zealand and played a significant role in securing parliamentary approval of a bill to uphold public broadcasting while at the same time privatising the commercial assets of the national broadcaster. In 1996, Nigel was named Radio Broadcaster of the Year for his service to New Zealand’s broadcasting industry; an earlier award in Australia, named him Media Executive of the Year.
Nigel is a past Chairman of the Fred Hollows Foundation, one of the most successful non-government organisations in Australia with operations in 46 countries. He has also served as a Director of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, a former member of the Advisory Board of the Australian Walkley Awards for Journalism, and a former Trustee of the Australian Museum; former President of Federation of Australian Radio Broadcasters (now CRA).

Nigel’s current position is with the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) as National CEO. The RFDS is the largest and most comprehensive aero-medical organisation in the world. His association with ASPA began in 1998 when his daughter was a member of the Australian Girls Choir and he is pleased to now contribute to the ongoing success of ASPA as Chair of the Advisory Board.

ROBYN WATTS
Robyn Watts has held CEO and Executive and Non Executive Director positions throughout her career in the Australian media industry. At the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Robyn was Executive Director of Content Rights Management and ABC Enterprises until 2007. Prior to this Robyn was CEO of Southern Star Sales, the division of the Southern Star Group which she established for the publicly listed media company. Previously Robyn was Director Marketing, Sales and Distribution at Film Australia and the Tasmanian Film Corporation.
Robyn is currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Australian School of Performing Arts, a member of the Board of Governors of the ANU Endowment for Excellence and a member of the Board of the Holdsworth Community Centre. She has been a Board member of Screenrights, Australian Film, Television & Radio School and Screen Producers’ Association of Australia. Robyn is also a member of the Australian Advisory Group of the Country Music Association of America.
KIM MURRAY
Kim has over 20 years experience in CEO/Finance/Commercial roles across various industries, including Gaming/Entertainment, Telecommunications and IT. Currently Kim runs her own management consulting business, providing advice to Small to Medium size business in the areas of strategy, financial management, M&A, and operational improvement. Prior to this, Kim was CEO of TUSC Computer Services, an IT Software/Services business with 120 staff operating in both the Telecommunications and Utilities industries. Kim has a Bachelor in Business, an MBA, a Master of Applied Finance and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Kim joined the Advisory Board of the Australian School of Performing Arts in June 2008.
